Clarity & Radiance Explained
What exactly does "skin texture" refer to?
Skin texture refers to the physical feel and surface appearance of your skin. Ideally, skin should feel smooth and soft. “Poor” texture is often characterized by enlarged pores, rough patches, acne scarring, or fine bumps. Our treatments work to “sand” or dissolve these irregularities for a polished finish.
How can I achieve a "glow" if my skin currently looks dull?
Dullness is usually caused by a buildup of dead skin cells that prevent light from reflecting off your face. We use professional exfoliation—such as chemical peels, dermaplaning, or hydradermabrasion—to remove that debris and infuse the skin with antioxidants, instantly increasing its natural luminosity.
Will these treatments help with large pores?
While you cannot physically “shrink” your pores (as their size is genetically determined), we can significantly minimize their appearance. By deep-cleansing the congestion within the pore and tightening the surrounding skin through collagen stimulation, the surface of your skin will look much more refined and “poreless.”
Is there any "peeling" or downtime involved?
This depends on the intensity of the treatment. Our “Glow” facials typically have zero downtime and leave you red-carpet ready. More intensive “Texture” resurfacing may result in mild flaking or redness for 3–5 days as your skin sheds the old, rough layers to reveal the new ones.
How often should I come in for a texture treatment?
For most clients, we recommend a maintenance treatment every 4 to 6 weeks. This aligns with your skin’s natural 28-day cellular turnover cycle, ensuring that dead skin cells are removed and new, healthy cells are consistently brought to the surface.
